Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer free estimates?
We charge a diagnostic fee to send a technician to your home to inspect the appliance and provide a detailed estimate. However, if you choose to move forward with the repair, we apply the diagnostic fee towards the labor charge.
Can you give me an estimate over the phone?
We can provide a rough estimate for common issues over the phone, but we cannot give a firm quote without physical inspection of the unit. Modern appliances have complex electronic components, and the same symptom (like a fridge not cooling) could be caused by anything from a dusty coil to a failed compressor. We want to ensure you get an accurate price, not a guess.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit card, cash and check
How long will my repair take?
Most repairs are completed within 1-2 hours once we have the parts. We carry a variety of common parts on our vehicles to aim for “one visit” repairs. If a specialty part needs to be ordered, it typically arrives within 3 business days.
Do you use genuine (OEM) parts?
Yes, we only use OEM parts.
Should I repair or replace my appliance?
We generally follow the 50% Rule: If the repair cost is more than half the price of a brand-new unit, and the appliance is more than 8-10 years old, replacement might be a better investment. Our technicians will always give you an honest assessment of your machine's overall condition before you spend a dime on repairs.
Do you guarantee your work?
Absolutely. We stand behind our quality with a 90-day warranty on all labor and parts have the manufacturer warranty which is usually 90 days to 1 year. If the same issue returns within that window, we’ll come back at no extra charge.
Are you insured?
Yes. For your peace of mind, our company is fully licensed and insured. Our technicians are trained professionals who treat your home with the utmost respect, including using floor protection and cleaning up after the job is done.
What information do I need to book an appointment?
To help us arrive prepared, please have your brand name and model number ready. You can usually find the model number on a sticker inside the door frame, behind the kickplate, or on the back of the unit. A quick description of the "symptoms" (e.g., "making a loud grinding noise") is also very helpful!
What types of appliances do you repair?
Major appliances like refrigerators, ranges, cooktops, wall ovens, vent hoods, dishwashers, washers, dryers, trash compactors and more.
What brands do you service?
Some of the most common brands we service are GE, Monogram, Electrolux, Frigidaire, LG, Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, Speed Queen but we service many other brands.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We try to get the technician out ASAP. Usually within 1-2 days. Sometimes we can even make same day appointments.
